Dnipro-WEB is a state-backed SaaS platform developed by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to collect and analyze data on the Dnipro River and its tributaries to support evidence-based decision-making on water use and recovery strategies after the destruction by russians of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. This makes the project a critical public initiative with high societal significance.

The task was to design a logo and a complete visual identity system for the platform. The proposed concept was inspired by the natural flow and shape of the Dnipro River, translating its curves and smooth transitions into rounded, fluid forms that became the foundation of both the logo and the broader identity system. These flowing shapes were developed into a recurring graphic element, symbolizing continuity, resilience, and balance. The color palette was also derived from the riverscape, with tones referencing water and its changing states.

This approach created a cohesive and recognizable identity that emphasizes the urgency and importance of sustainable water management in the aftermath of ecological catastrophe.
